LEARN ENGLISH LAUGHING WITH THE KUPPIES

THE PRINCE AND THE KUPPIES will be published on Amazon Kindle in the next few days.
Every page has a colour illustration and every day I will analyse grammatically one sentence from "The Kuppies".  Learning is fun - for all ages.  Here's an example:

"Ming the Siamese Cat had just given birth to five Kuppies".

Ming - the cat

To give birth to - is the verb. (To have babies - kittens)

Five - Numbers - one, two, three, four, FIVE.

TENSE;  PAST PERFECT - "HAVE" PLUS PAST PARTICIPLE.

"have" is in the past "had" because the story is in the past.

The Past Participle of "give" is "given".  IT IS NOT PAST SIMPLE BECAUSE IT USES "JUST" - THIS IS NOT PRECISE TIME IN PAST.

EASY ISN'T IT???

5 MINUTES A DAY IS ALL IT TAKES TO LEARN ENGLISH LAUGHING WITH THE KUPPIES.
